Echo Weaver demo: elevator keypad hint

Source review: 15 September 2026 · English
PC Demo · historical developer hint · build not established

The developer’s demo hint concerns the keypad layout. Reveal it below if you have the clue but cannot make sense of the elevator input. 1

Reveal the layout hint

Show the developer’s keypad hint

Think of a phone keypad, rather than the number pad on a computer keyboard. In the Steam demo discussion, developer Greeksalad points the player to that distinction. This is an attributed hint, not a code we have independently tested. 1

What this tells you—and what it does not

Use the layout distinction to reconsider how the clue you found maps onto the input. The cited developer reply does not establish an exact numeric solution, and it does not confirm how the puzzle behaves in the final release. We therefore do not list a guessed code. 2

Still stuck?

Open the original developer reply in the source notes below and compare it with your demo version. If the interface or clue differs, this hint may not settle your case. The scope here is the demo discussion, not a complete elevator walkthrough. 2

A second hint: visualize the layout

Show a phone-style keypad diagram · spoiler

Read the developer’s clue as a layout hint. A conventional phone keypad puts the first three digits across the top row. The diagram below illustrates that convention; it is not a game screenshot or a discovered code. Developer clue

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

This helps distinguish phone ordering from a computer number pad. It does not tell you which digits to enter.

Verification boundary

The attributed layout hint remains the answer supported here. The discussion does not provide a complete successful input sequence or a final-release test. The developer also acknowledged the missing number-mapping hint in a June 20 follow-up. Developer discussion Source review: 15 September 2026; no personal playtest.
